A few interesting facts about what to expect when you visit the Budapest Fringe Festival on the last weekend of March:
There are altogether 223 acts from Budapest, 3 from abroad (London, Stuttgart, Senta) and 97 from elsewhere in Hungary (mostly larger towns, like Pécs, Szeged, Debrecen, or Miskolc and from around Budapest);
The total number of performers equals 2607;
323 performing groups present 224 hours of programme (444.5 hours including set-up and break-down);
There are 16 stages operating simultaneously, when all stages are used, but at the least 10 are always in operation;
The first performances begin at noon on Friday, the last ones at midnight on Sunday;
On the average, 4 performances start every hour, and 6 to 8 other performances are also in progress.
